It is essential to keep a health history that could yield insight for your doctor.

If you are having frequent colds and bouts of pneumonia and other viruses this is not normal and you should alert your doctor. Good health habits ensure that you are familiar with your body and provide helpful information to your doctor. You may be concerned about the cost of this health care given your situation. Most hospitals have a social worker who can help you navigate the clinics and services for the uninsured, underinsured or those who may qualify for Medicare or state medical subsidies.
